With a passion for improving patient outcomes and optimising healthcare services, Jennifer brings a wealth of expertise and leadership to her role. Jennifer's career in healthcare spans over two decades, during which she has held various clinical and administrative positions.

Her extensive experience as an occupational therapist has provided her with a deep understanding of the challenges faced by patients and healthcare providers alike. Recognising the importance of quality care delivery, she has been dedicated to implementing innovative strategies and best practices that enhance patient well-being and maximize functional independence. As the Chief Executive of Hospitals North, Jennifer was responsible for overseeing the operations and strategic direction of multiple healthcare facilities while delivering significant organisational change to improve corporate and clinical governance.

Her visionary leadership and strong business acumen have been instrumental in driving organisational growth and ensuring the delivery of exceptional healthcare services. She collaborates closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimise resource allocation, fosters a culture of patient-centered care, and promotes continuous improvement throughout the hospitals. Joe has been working with Pathways to Governance Consulting from it's inception and brings a wealth of experience in leadership, emergency services and managing health services.
Joe's professional journey spans more than three decades as a critical care paramedic, emergency services chief, university academic and health system executive across Canada and Australia. DR LIZ DITTON PhD, MA Psych (Clin), BA (Psych), MAPS
Liz has enhanced the wellbeing and resilience service offered at Pathways to Governance Consulting increasing the diversity of services offered.
Liz is a Clinical Psychologist with over 20 years experience in clinical practice and expertise in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, mindfulness-based interventions, and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT). Liz's longstanding interest and dedication to workplace burnout prevention and management has resulted in outstanding results in the work with Pathways to Governance Consulting with group and individual consultations. The sessions have facilitated awareness of workplace stressors, and work to build on a positive connection between their work and personal values.

PROFESSOR JAMES ELLIOTT
James is a seasoned healthcare Director with over 20 years experience in the global healthcare sector. Currently leading the Kolling Institute, the oldest biomedical research institute in New South Wales, James has an impressive track record of steering complex projects across international teams and strategic alliance partners. He excels with key policymakers, opinion leaders, Boards, and C-Suite executives. James possesses a unique ability to decipher complex issues, set strategic directions and translate them into practical and pragmatic actions. His extensive experience in building and inspiring teams has consistently delivered impactful results.

In addition to his leadership role at the Kolling Institute, James is the co-founder of The MuscleMap, an innovative open-source consortium for whole-body quantitative MRI of muscle. He has also been appointed to the Astronaut Spine Working Group by NASA and served as the VP of the Medical Faculty Council for the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University. His academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Physical Therapy, from Regis University, a PhD from the University of Queensland, and a Post-Doctoral Fellowship at the same institution. With a background in professional sports, having been associated with the Colorado Rockies and San Diego Padres, James brings a diverse and dynamic perspective to Pathways to Governance Consulting.  

DANETTE HOLDING
Dannette brings a wealth of experience and a profound dedication to patient care to her new role at Pathways to Governance Consulting. With a career that began in 1993, she has honed her skills in geriatric, surgical and critical care nursing, demonstrating a consistent commitment to excellence and compassion. Her transition into the role of Patient Representative at a major tertiary referral centre marked a significant evolution in her career, where for 15 years, she adeptly managed all aspects of patient and consumer feedback, open disclosure, and incident investigation. Danette's meticulous approach to handling compliants and incidents, coupled with her ability to support patients families, and clinicians, has given her unparalleled insight into the complexities of pressures facing health services and governance.

At Pathways to Governance Consulting, Danettte's extensive experience will be invaluable in driving system improvements and enhancing patient safety and care quality. Her background in clinical consultation within the private medical negligence sector and her role as after hours manager in a large tertiary centre have equipped her with robust understanding of both clinical and corporate governance. Moreover, her recent involvement in assessing health entities against the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care Standards, along with her pursuit of a Masters in Dispute Resolution, underscores her commitment to continuous learning and excellence.
